Apex Healer: The Wolf’s Prayer is a series of watercolor and ink illustrations rooted in the archetypal framework of Tarot.
Wolves evoke polarized emotional responses in humans—reverence, awe, and wonder on one end of the spectrum, and fear, hatred, and vilification on the other.
This work focuses on the inherent spirituality of wolves as expressed through their intelligence, familial bonds, and relationships within the ecological systems they inhabit. The intention is for viewers to encounter wolves as integral, wild beings within the fabric of reality, rather than as anthropomorphized figures on the fringe of a human-centric world.
